Camino Schools Logo Design

Camino Schools is a K-8 school dedicated to renewing culture and bringing souls to Christ by collaborating with parents in the intellectual, moral, physical, and spiritual education of their children. Through an inspiring liberal arts curriculum and personal character formation, the school seeks to develop children into mature, confident leaders who live the gospel, evangelize society, and engage the world with a spirit of freedom, adventure, and service.

Embark Agency approached me to help them develop a timeless logo design for their client Camino Schools. The client wanted imagery that pays homage to the Camino Bells which are steeped in the Catholic history of California where the school is established. The image mark combines the ubiquitous Camino Bell, with the path through which the development of the students is fulfilled in and through the school. Additional academic symbology is added by the open book at the top of the design. The clean and recognizable image mark, combined with the established and classical nature of the word mark can be applied on a variety of different mediums as the school continues to develop.
