Jubilee Year 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope

2025 is a Jubilee year in the Catholic Church—a special time for forgiveness, reconciliation, and renewal. On Sunday, December 29, 2024, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles celebrated the Rite of the Opening of the Jubilee Year with Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

In order to visually commemorate this year, and the 2025 Jubilee theme “Pilgrims of Hope”, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles approached me to create a logo that would be utilized on various print, digital, and signage mediums. The goal was to create a mark that clearly and uniquely identifies the Jubilee theme, as well as symbolize the love and mercy that flows forth from Christ Jesus.
