Together in Mission: “Gifts of the Heart”

Together in Mission is an annual appeal conducted by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles — it is a collaborative effort that brings together the Catholic community, encouraging one another to sustain vital ministries and services in underprivileged parishes and schools — all in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The team at Covenant Work digital agency reached out for help in crafting a visual identity for the 2025 annual appeal, “Gifts of the Heart”. The project involved creating a core visual system for this year’s theme, along with various auxiliary assets to help with promotion efforts. The client wanted the visual identity to maintain a link to the appeal’s established reputation, while being bold enough to stand out in various parish settings. I did this by building upon the brand’s existing color palette with vibrant complementary colors, utilizing elements from historic paintings and images of the saints, and creating a modular system of design that allows the ancient and new to coexist together.
